Olympians with the young and the Redcliffe.

Angie & Steve Lambert, 2008 Olympians personally signed our U11 girls sticks, balls and shirts. It was a great experience for the girls who swamped the couple in the car park and had a whole 15 minutes with them (many photos taken which will be posted soon). A great experience for the girls who touched an Olympic medal and “flirted” with Steve!
The Hockey sticks you both autographed have been taken to schools all over Brisbane by little hockey players - so they can show their school friends and tell them about the Olympians who came to their game.

The management committee usually meets once a month to discuss club business. As a member you are able to request a copy of the minutes from the club secretary. To obtain a copy please submit an email to the club secretary outlining your request.

A monthly E-News is under consideration ( to be, or not to be ) produced and emailed to our Members and Supporters If you would like to subscribe to this service, please send your : Name and Email Address To development@bwha.com.au and we will add you to our trial E-News list. In the mean time - while the trial continues, a version of the club's newsletter is available through "snail mail". Request snail mail details from the above email address, then simply send a stamped, self address envelope. Yes a little old fashioned but the good news is that " Australia Post and not the Pony Express" will bring your mail. - We wonder just how many folk still like it that way.
